An Island Getaway in Your Backyard

Adding an outdoor kitchen or bar may be what you need for entertaining family and friends.

Tiki Bar

Why not build a tiki bar outfitted with a full outdoor kitchen? With careful planning and material selection, the same beautiful materials that you would expect to see indoors can be used for a covered outdoor living space. We used custom mahogany cabinets with nickel hardware to make the outdoor kitchen feel just like an indoor kitchen.

The outdoor space really comes alive when the custom-made outdoor pizza oven heats up to 1100 degrees. The large, wrap-around counter space makes it easy to create many pizzas for guests and serve other food and drinks. The refrigerator located under the counter holds all of the perishable ingredients and keeps extra drinks cold before serving. There is a sink with running water makes it easier than having to run into the house every time you need water or to quickly wash a dish. We even added an ice maker that can continue to make fresh ice as the night goes on.

We had a great time with the tiki bar theme, always keeping in mind that this space is meant for fun with our family and friends. The tiki bar theme keeps the fun going all year. At night, the tiki bar lights up to create a festive evening atmosphere.
